Joseph Henry wins "Best Screenplay" and wins Runner up for "Best Short" at IFCT Los Angeles 2009
Since its inception in 2002, IFCT has held past festival events in 13 cities: Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Toronto, Orlando, Brisbane, New York, Sheffield, Melbourne, Jacksonville, Washington DC, Quezon City, Phillipines and Paris using many of the world's most prestigious venues for festival events including the CN Tower, Tribeca Theatre, Universal Citywalk Orlando and Fox Studios in Sydney. In December 2008, the Los Angeles event will be a standalone event presenting shorts and feature films.
Historically, IFCT has screened nearly every imaginable type of film originating on a WIDE VARIETY OF FORMATS ranging from film to digital video.
IFCT has emerged as one of the world's fastest growing film festivals. IFCT has overseen over 700 premieres including animations, features, docs, shorts and experimental film. As a non-profit, IFCT's goal is to find the best undiscovered and overlooked projects and screen them to general audiences as well as industry professionals.
