Bank of America, History and Red Thread Productions... Making History Together
Bank of America is lending some unusual advertising/programming help to the cable network History for its massive 12-hour series "America: The Story of Us." The financial services company was not only the presenting sponsor of the series, it produced -- through a partnership with History -- 12 two-minute, original mini-documentaries about itself. The mini-documentaries, directed by Phil Allocco, showcased the roles Bank of America has played throughout America's history.
The first night of the mini-series, which was shown in two-hour installments each week through May 30, drew 5.7 million viewers, the largest audience in the network's history.
The groundbreaking mini-doc series that was featured in numerous articles such as the New York Times and Business Week was directed by Phil Allocco. Executive Producers: Nadine C. Licostie and Connie Grazia. Producers: Tony Grazia and Suzanne Mitchell. Editors: Fedde and Jason Jones. Graphic Design: Claudia D'Enjoy
